You cant beat a red lip! A classic statement red lip is something that you can embrace all year round and recently I have been trying a few cheaper drugstore red lipsticks out so that you can fully rock the red lip look this summer!
A lot of people think a red lip is just a simple shade, however depending on the tone of the red you wear can really show your personality!
The first one is a simple MUA in the shade 'Scarlet Siren', I have mentioned MUA products a million times before, they are a really cheap brand that things such as nail polishes and lipsticks are pigmented and have a great formula for the price! I picked this up because it was 1 pound, also because it was matte and that differs from my other lipsticks. It is a pigmented really light pretty colour. I did also pick up the red lip liner to match it, as usually I'm not a fan of lip liner but it is vital when wearing a red lip.
The next one I picked up believe it or not is from the PS Love range in PRIMARK! Out of all the red lipsticks I own, my mum chose this one to wear when she went to the royal ascot! It is more of a pinky toned red and again like the MUA one was only £1. I would say its a definatly worth a try especially if your not that confident about wearing a vibrant red lip this summer! Unfortunately it doesn't have a name / number:(
The final one is from the Kate Moss collection and it is a much deeper toned red. This creates more of a darker tone on your face, needless to say I'm in love! It would go perfectly with a smoky eye look. Even though its a little more expensive its still extremely reasonable and probably a little better formulated!
