February Favourites

Hey everyonee!

Wow! This year is just going so quickly! I can't believe it's already the beginning of March! The month of February was quite up and down to be honest! At some points I've felt really high and other I have literally felt like the earth is crumbling down and it is all landing on my shoulders (slightly over-exaggerated)

Anyway, it was half term this February which meant we all had a week of to do many lovely things, waste more time eating and watching rubbish and acting like human sloths 24/7. That's what half terms for though isn't it?

 

Alas, here are the things that have helped me through the month of February...

 

Make-up

My favourite make-up product this month has been my Benefit boi-ing concealer! It has been an absolute LIFE SAVER especially these past few weeks! I'm not going to lie, when my mum bought me this I used it once, when I didn't have any blemishes on my skin and never really thought much of it. I put it in my make-up 'box', and never used it again... UNTIL... as massive big red disgusting thing grew on the right hand side of my cheek! It was the size of mercury I swear and it was literally the centre of attention  of  my face and I was absolutely mortified! I tried all of my concealers and this one was last! It just completely covered it up and no-one could hardly see it! I re-applied it at break and lunch though, so it doesn't last all day. It comes in two shades, a lighter one and a darker one. You apply the lighter one first and then to darker to belnd in with your skin tone! I would highly recommend this to anyone with a lot of blemishes! It really is a life saver!

 

 

 Nail Polish

Personally I would class nail polish as something different to make-up (hence the different catagory) hehe!

 

I have been loving the 'Maybeline Colourshow' in the shade 150; Mauve kiss. Now for myself, and probably a lot of you, nail polish is something you don't wear a lot, due to school, however with it being half term I painted my nails alot! This is a gorgeous dark beige colour, and I'm  a sucker for those kind of colours anyway (I'm such an old lady haha!) It was super cheap & I would highly recommend the whole range! I will definately be purchasing more shades!

 

Clothes

My favourite item of clothing this month has been this floral top, I have worn it so much this month. It is from Topshop, and you literally can't go wrong with Topshop Clothes. Many of you have probably read my Topshhop haul, if not check it out! Anyway this top is kind of a see through top, therefore I always wear a vest top of Bandeau underneath. This means it is light weight and you can layer it up in Winter too! Personally I don't think that camera makes the colours look very flattering, however I love it! I'm unaware of the price unfortunately!

 

Music

 My favourite band this month have been the Arctic Monkeys and 1975. I have loved that Arctic Monkeys for a long time, as my dad loved their music when I was younger; it's all I ever heard in the car aha! Anyway I really love the song 'Why'd you Only Call me when Your High ?,'I just think its's a really good rave song haha! I also have loved 'Next Year' by Two Door Cinema Club again! I used to love this band and I have recently got back into their music again which is great because I love listen to old music that I used to listen to in the past (I'm really sad haha!).

Jewelry

I wouldn't usually add this to a Favourite's post, however this necklace I have literally worn every wear! I think it has become my signature piece and I wear I with most things! To me I think it completes my outfit; just a little cute collar! I am an absolute sucker for collars however it is not always possible to slip something with a coller under a top to complete a look.

I didn't actually buy this myself, my Uncle & his girlfriend bought it for me for Christmas. At the time I wasn't too sure whether to take it back or not and buy another piece of jewelry with the money but I'm SO glad I didn't! It is from Topshop and I'm unsure of the price as I mentioned it was a gift!




 

Question & Answer Post

Hey everyonee!

Today I'm going to be doing a Q&A post as I am working on a big haul for you all and it has taken a lot longer than I expected! I bought a lot of stuff haha!

I apologise in advance for not including any photography in this post however I hope my haul will compensate for it.
Without further a do...


Question 1
Who is your favourite Youtuber?

Answer - This question was extremely hard for as I have a little (quite big actually) group of them! However like most people it has to be Zoella. She is perfect! I absolutely adore her and I really do wish I could be her! She was really the one who inspired me to write a blog and from watching her videos was the reason I became addicted to beauty products & fashion.


Question 2
Who is your inspiration?

Answer - As I already mentioned however didn't want to go into too much detail in the previous question Zoella (aka Zoe Sugg) is my inspiration; along with a lot of people. She has inspired me to have a different view on life. Although I don't know her personally I feel like she has given me a lot of support as some of you know I suffered an extremely bad time in my life a few years ago and I literally feel she has helped me turn my life around (along with my amazing friends and family of course)! Anyway needless to say Zoe is my inspiration, along with my amazing Nana.


Question 3
Why did you start to write a blog?

Answer - Again I think I keep repeating myself however after beginning to watch the Youtubers blogs it really inspired me. I then saw a lot of people's blogs on instagram and figured ' if they can do it, I can do it.' However I was extremely nervous to begin. For months my mind flooded with with doubts and then one of my best friends Kiera started one. I then made it my New Years Resolution to create one. 'New year, New start' I thought to myself and within a couple of days I set one up! I can't believe how successful it was and I absolutely adore writing it! I love sharing all my favourite things with everyone and even better... people say they enjoy reading it! Haha!

 Question 4
Will you ever create a Youtube account?

Answer - I would absolutely love to start Youtube. It would be my dream however there are a number of reasons why I wouldn't start yet...
1. I majorly lack self - confidence and I really don't think I have the courage and confidence to start yet. I worry that people will judge me etc.#
2. I'm in the middle of my school life and I feel I will be putting to much pressure on myself and lack focus in my school work.

Hopefully one day, possibly when I finish school or something I will buy the correct equipment and begin Youtube however I think it is still a dream....

Question
What is your favourite shop?

Answer - I don't if you have figured but I LOVE shopping! I go shopping every weekend with my friends (some would say I'm too addicted haha!) Therefore it is extremely hard to decide however it has to be Topshop. I absolutely love it! I figured I'd choose this as my favourite is because it also has a really good make-up range ; 2-in-1. Yes it is slightly pricier however the quality of the clothes are amazing and I can keep them for a few years before getting rid off them! There clothe ranges are always stunning as well!

Question 6
What was your favourite children's programme?

Answer - Before I begin, I would to say that I really miss the old Disney! I miss all of it! That's So Raven, Hannah Montana, The Suit Life of Zack & Cody etc. I have literally come to the conclusion that it was too hard to decide! Sorry!

Question 7
What do you want to be when your older?

Answer - I'm quite an indecisive person and find it very hard to make decisions; I constantly change my mind and I'm never happy with my self and I think that's part of the reason I'm quite insecure and lack self confidence however I think I have finally found my dream...
I was to become a fashion journalist! I literally have dreams about having my own column in Vogue, or Company magazine! Whenever I picture myself doing this it always inspires me to try hard with my school work. 'If you want to do well in life you have to try hard' is what I keep telling myself. So yeah... hehe!

Question 8
What is your favourite food?

Answer - My friends will know I am the most pickiest eater ever! Food (as in proper meals) are not something I enjoy! However I love snacking haha! Which isn't very good! My friends & I have a huge (kind of obsessive) addiction with these sweets called 'Fritt'. As you know I'm quite bad at describing however they kind of taste like Chewitts? I don't know if anyone has ever had them before? Anyhow yeah I really love those!
Another random is more of an actual food haha! It's smoked salmon. I absolutely love this stuff! I have it will cream cheese and pasta & rivita crackers and cream cheese. I think it's a really great snack and is very healthy for you!
Also as you all know I love Nutella!

 Question 9
What is your favourite beauty product?

Answer - I'm not really sure what is meant by this question but I'm assuming it means like what category? Therefore for me it would be mascara. I think your whole makeup looks incomplete without adding mascara and I also thinks it really brightens your eyes! I find it so frustrating that my eyelashes are so light! It means I can't wear a lot of mascara to school without it looking so obvious & being told to take it off :( My favourite mascaras are 'They're Real' by Benefit and 'Rocket Volum Express' from Maybeline. These two mascaras really extend your lashes without making it all clumpy! I would highly recommend them!
