My Skincare Reviews / Routine!

Today I'm going to be showing you the products I use daily as part of my skin routine, along with reviewing them. Firstly you should know that I'm quite lucky & only suffer from quite a few bad under skin spots and rarely have any spots on my skin (obviously the occasional now and then), therefore I'm not too sure how these products affect blemishes! It is mostly normal, I don't have any dryness, a slightly oily t-zone and okay sized pores. The main problem is that my skin is very sensitive! When people here the words 'Sensitive Skin' they tend to associate it with dry, flaky and red skin however that's not the case. My skin is not tolerant to any bad products. I have to pick and choose my products very carefully and the products I am about to show products, don't contain any harsh chemicals. My skin does not like sulphates, heavy moisturisers or overpowering scents.
Oh my goodness! This is the best cleanser EVER! It is the 'Soap and Glory Peaches & Clean 4 in 1 Cleansing Milk' I have never tried anything better than this! This product is needless to say... PERFECT!
First of all, the SMELL is INCREDIBLE! It actually does smell like peaches, but minty peaches. It's quite an odd and unusual scent but it's lovely. Your face does feel really invigorated. The scent lingers for a while afterwards too.
Secondly it removes make-up so easily, definitely in comparison with other cleansers! Peaches and Clean is gentle enough to remove mascara, eyeliner and make up without irritating your eyes. I will admit that it doesn't get make up off perfectly, but it gives it a good go and I'm very impressed.
Thirdly, the packaging is great. The pump is really sturdy and locks for travel. It's easy to control so you can get the right amount of product! However the picture above is the old packaging and I personally prefer it! Also instead of the new one being a 4-in-1 it only claims to be a 3-in-1 which is quite disappointing however I am reaching the end of my bottle and will therefore have to purchase the new edition and see how that is!
Finally, Peaches and Clean claims to unblock pores and leave you with a fresher and brighter complexion. I have used this for ages however when I don't use this I can honestly say my skin doesn't feel as bright and fresh! In general, this lathers up really well, the product itself is really nice to use, the smell is amazing and most importantly: it leaves your skin super clean and super soft. I'm just so disappointed they changed the packaging!
I use this cleanser 2-3 times a week as it keeps my skin so refreshed and revitalising, it is not needed every day! I apply this with my hands and rubbing it on my face in circular motions.
'Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub', this is my daily cleanser and I honestly find it really good! Again I apply this when I'm i Neutrogena claims that the product 'helps eliminate spots and blemishes with a fresh clean feel'.The product is a thick, light pink consistency with exfoliating micro beads... and the smell of the product is AMAZING!
It definitely gives a fresh, clean feel to your face, however doesn't really eliminate spots! The product must be squeezed out of the bottle to be obtained and the packaging also allows you to see the product which is quite good.
As much as I like this product I don't think I will re-purchase it again for a while. I think I will explore the range more as they also have Facial Wash etc. and I'm always willing to try new things!
This face mask is my saviour! It is the 'Aromatherapy Associates Hydrating Rose Face Mask' it moisturises and renews my face & it is honestly amazing! This product is in my opinion pricey for a face mask at around £36 for 100ml. Available to buy here. The mask itself is a transparent, colourless gel which is easy to dispense from the tube and spread nicely over the skin, leaving a cooling sensation. It has a beautiful rose scent; I'm not one for rose-scented products but this really is lovely! The mask leaves the skin slightly sticky to begin with but as it dries, it sinks in beautifully, leaving no residue behind. Although the instructions suggest ten minutes, I often leave this on for longer than that whilst watching a film. It's really easy to remove, I just use a muslin cloth soaked in warm water to rub it off, rinse and repeat to be sure of having removed all traces. My skin is left soft, smooth and glowing; it really does bring radiance and vitality to the skin, as well as hydrating beautifully to plump up the skin without leaving it oily or greasy. It might be aimed predominantly at dry skin, but other skin types can definitely benefit from this mask!
This is the 'Simple, Kind to Skin, Refreshing Facial Wash Gel' I don't really use this a lot because I have the S&G one & the Neutrogena one. However this is actually surprisingly good! It does not contain any colour, fragrance, SLS's and is soap free! It doesn't sting, irritate or make my skin feel tight after I have used it. It removes my make up well and takes off make-up brilliantly! I have found my skin responds really well to this product and I often see an improvement to my skin when I use this.
This is the 'e.l.f Zit Zapper' I apply this on anywhere where the signs of a spot is forming. Firstly I would like to acknowledge how cheap this is! I purchased it online as it is an American brand however it is available to purchase Almost immediately after I applied the Zit Zapper, I felt a light tingly feeling and I knew that the product was working. I was amazed. The next morning the zit was barely there, and it was no longer irritated. This really surprised me, especially after I've bought $50 acne creams from my dermatologist.
The are only two downsides to this product for me. One is the packaging. I love the product itself, but I feel that the little roller-ball gets stuck a little bit sometimes, making it harder to get the product out. If e.l.f. could redesign the packaging just a little bit, I feel it would be even more successful.
