My 2013 favourites! (part one)

Hey everyonee!

Today I came up with an idea with the help of my two very lovely friends that I would do my 2013 favourites before it was too late! I have decided to split this post into 2 because it was so long due to the fact I have so much to say about beauty (a lot more than I thought I did)! The random favourites nevertheless will be posted soon!
Without further ado let's get on...

Beauty

There are so many products I could include in this therefore I have limited it to one/two favourites per makeup item; otherwise we could be here all day aha! If you would like me to review any of my make-up  just make sure you contact me(I will leave contact details below). These are the products I have been loving this month...

Mascara

Okay I have two mascara favourites & I use them both ALL the time; in fact there the only ones I ever use!

I apologise for the poor photography here... I can't really control the sun hehe! Getting back to the point... They are Rimmel Scandaleyes retro glam mascara & Maybeline Rocket Volum Express.

The Scandaleyes on leaves your lashes looking so thing & volumised its amazing & it also lengthens them really well too. For anyone on the hunt for a mascara I would definitely recommend this if you love your lashes to look full. They are currently charging £4.99 for this in Superdrug & Boots which for a drugstore mascara is quite cheap. I tend to find mascara is one of the more pricier drugstore make-up.

This one however is quite different. It is the best mascara ever for lengthening your lashes! It doesn't leave them as volumised and the Scandalised but there are no clumps its just incredible! I had heard so many good reviews about it and my friend happened to buy me this for my birthday but I think its around £7.99 in Boots however I do believe you can get it cheaper... I can't explain how much you should go & buy this!

Foundation

The only foundation I have really been loving this year is....

'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow' from Benefit and for the next few beauty favourites you will be able to see Benefit mentioned quite frequently. I absolutely love the brand and I think its currently my second favourite (mac being my favourite). This year I received quite a lot of benefit make up & am of course extremely grateful. In this picture it is the mini version because I received a set for my birthday & this was included, however since then I have re-purchased this foundation because I found it so amazing. It is in the shade light & would recommend the whole set that will me mentioned shortly to EVERYONE!

I know this is not foundation but its close enough...hehe! This BB Cream was recommended to me by one of my best friends; Kiera & I can't thank her enough for telling me about this! Due to the facts we're not allowed to wear make-up to school & I have extremely pale skin I can't wear a lot (you don't know how much it frustrates me!) However this BB cream has medium coverage & gives your skin that glow / radiance you need. It's been a God this year! Its in the shade light & its insanely cheap! Go & check it out!

Benefit Sets

Okay so I know this topic isn't necessarily a specific type of make-up but I'll explain...

I think it's appropriate to start with this set as its the one I purchased first. (Just to inform you I received all these sets as gifts).
Anyhow this set is called 'How to Look the Best at Everything' in the shade light. It includes a Porefessional primer which is an amazing base for your foundation & leaves your face feeling really smooth even before you apply your makeup! It is an amazing base and would highly recommend. It then has the 'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow' foundation that was my favourite foundation of the year. It then includes 2 shades of the 'Boi-ing' concealers. You apply the lighter colour first & the darker over the top & it finally comes with the most AMAZING powder EVER; 'Hello Flawless'. I have never tried a powder better than this! It is needless to say... flawless! It also comes with a mini brush to apply the powder. This set is only £25.50 which in my opinion is amazing value for money because even though they look quite small I purchased this set in October (12th) , use it every day, & the only the only thing I'm running short of is the powder! This set never fails to disappoint and gives you a flawless complexion.

My best friend Sophie bought me this make-up set along with an eyeshadow for my birthday which is so kind & I love her so much! Anyhow this set is called 'Go TropiCORAL' and its a lip & cheek kit, I would recommend it to people that love that extra bit of colour on their face. It includes the following: Cha-Cha tint; this stains your lips and cheeks a gorgeous mango colour. To be honest I never use this on my cheeks as due to the fact I have pale skin it looks like I have red strokes on my cheeks. Therefore I only use it on my lips however the it leaves a really gorgeous tint on my lips. Therefore I wouldn't really recommend this for a cheek stain however definitely for lips! The next one is 'Highbeam' which is a luminescent complexion enhancer (basically a highlighter) and its amazing! It's essential for me to wear and I highlight me t-zone & it brightens up my face! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Next is the 'Coralista' blush which is a beautiful colour. I wear this mainly on weekends as it's too much to wear to school. It also comes with a brush to apply it. Lastly is a 'Coralisa' lip gloss, and a similar mango shade & it really is beautiful however I don't really wear it  a lot. The whole set together is £25.50.
Last but not least is the set 'Greetings from Cabana Glama' and it is mainly a bronzing set; to give you that glowing tan look all year round. It contains: 'Some Kind - a Gorgeous Medium' which is like a dark foundation that comes out really nicely. It's quite a strange item however it instantly tans your skin without making you look orange & like you've applied too much make-up. The next is 'Hoola' which is quite a well known benefit bronzer & I literally stroke it across my cheeks, leaving a gorgeous sun kissed bronzed look. I then apply the 'Peach Fizz' from the eyeshadow palette (the pink one) on my brow-bone to give it a sparkly brighter effect & then 'Bronze Buzz' on my lid and 'Cocoa Pizzazz' on the crease line. These colours are a great combination however are not the bold. Finally I apply a stroke of the 'Posietint' on my lips. This set is £28.50 in Debenhams but £19.00 in John Lewis at the moment so nows the time to get it!

As you can see mentioning those covered a lot of my favourites. The Boi-ing concealer is my favourite of the year, along with the Coralista blusher, High beam luminescent complexion enhancer, Hello Flawless powder and Hoola bronzer.

Eye - Shadow

Now this is a category I wouldn't usually include however this year I have taken a real interest in eyeshadow & wear it whenever I get the chance! Therefore I thought it deserved to be mentioned especially as I love them & have used them so much...

I think its suitable to begin with my eyeshadow primer that I have only recently purchased this however has absolutely transformed my eyeshadow look! Its from e.l.f in the colour 'Champagne' and it comes with  an applicator and the rub it onto my eye lid. Its super cheap & I would definitely recommend it!

Okay I'm then going to introduce to my favourite... 'Benefit Long wear Powder Shadow' in the shade 'Nude Swings'. It is a gorgeous shimmery nude colour & goes beautifully with my max factor & e.l.f pallet underneath. I would definitely recommend to anybody that likes quite pale colours or as a brow bone highlighter however it is quite pricey for a single eyeshadow coming in at £15.50. I( also want to thank my best friend for buying me this!)

I would then like to include my other two benefit creasless cream eye shadows in the shades 'r.s.v.p' (lighter one) & 'skinny jeans'. They're really good bases however also look great on their own! I would definitely recommend these however again because they're benefit they are slightly pricier at £15.50 however they have now changed the packaging so make sure if you are looking at buying them look out for the packaging of my previous favourite!
r.s.v.p
                                                                               skinny jeans

Next I want to include my e.l.f pallet in the colour '#happyhour'. This is quite interesting because it has a specific colour to a different park of your eye: base, lid, crease, line(in order). At the moment I only use the base & the crease & I think the crease is such a beautiful colour especially. Anyhow I received this as a gift in America therefore I'm not sure how much it is but considering e.l.f is quite a cheap brand I'm imagining around $5 which is about £3.50

The finally one is this Max Factor trio and again I'm loving using the first colour as a base along with the base of '#Happyhour' and then the last two blended together. The first two colours are quite matte whereas the last one is shimmery. I really like these colours & use them all in my everyday look. I'm not sure how much this is as my friend bought it for me. However I think its around £5-£6.

Lipstick

I think I deliberately chose my favourite category till last because there has just been one outstanding lipstick for me this year...

My mac lipstick in the shade 'Creme Cup' I think its one of the most neutral pinks mac do (and they do a lot!) I find this so amazing as you can wear it all year round. It is quite a summer / spring colour however it goes well in Winter too! It smells gorgeous also! It is quite expensive for a lipstick but obviously...its mac! It is £15. I would definitely recommend it to ANYONE as its so pigmented and I literally couldn't live without it!

My final product is the 'Bourjois Colour Boost' in shade 'Peach on the Beach'. Which is such a cool name hehe! It is such a summery colour I love it. It says it stay on for 10 hours however I don't really agree with that although it does last a long time! Its really pigmented & I would definitely recommend any of the colours I think it being around £8.

Before I end this I would like to mention I have been a huge fan on M.U.A this year! It's super cheap but the lipsticks especially are amazing and are only £1! I would definitely check this out if you get the chance as you can grab some real bargains!
