How to be organized!

Hey everyonee

This is a really short post, however after posting my How to be Happy post on Wednesday, I had a few requests to post a 'How to be Organized'. This was one of the steps mentioned on how to become a more happier person, as I tend to feel happier when my room is tidy and everything is in its right place, however if your like me, its not exactly easy to keep it tidy! I really hope these next few tips will help you, and stop you struggling on how to keep organised....

1. Space

Before you start, organise your space that your in such as your bedroom. You can do this by getting rid of all the old stuff you don't need to make more space. If your like me and really struggle to get rid of stuff, if you really want to become organised I'm afraid your just going to have to let go haha! However I have found myself doing this many of times and it really isn't as bad as I thought! Storage is also a really great alternative if you have to space for it, not to throw of everything.

2. Tidy ♡
 
Make sure that everything is tidy, and that every object has it's place to live and nothing is just in a random spot!  Be aware that this does sometimes take time and therefore you need to be prepared it could take a long time, but I would just recommend putting yourself in that frame of mindset for a hour or so and it will be done quicker than expected! This will make it easier and help you know where everything is!

3. Calendar
If you tend to forget places your going, then buy a calendar where there's enough room to write stuff on so you can organise each day and what you've got going on. You can use reminder on your phone as an alternative if its easier!

4. To do lists ♡
 
This is a personal favourite of mine! Try making lists of everything you need to do daily to encourage you to do things and be organised. It really helps me to be organised but you really need to work and do the things on the list, I tend to call mine 'Must Do Lists' to really motivate myself to do it haha!


Make sure you are aware that become organised doesn't happen overnight and it will take a few weeks to adapt to your new routine but it will all be worth it in the end!
