Everyday Makeup Routine

Although I have shown you my make up favourites and my make up purchases I have never shared my everyday makeup routine. Usually for school I simply do the basic cover-up - something a little too boring to share, so I thought I would show you my weekend routine. I'm not going to lie and say, I do generally stick to the same thing over and over again.

Just a quickie: The photos were taken using my phone, so I know there not the best of quality, its just with being away and everything I didn't bring me camera with me!

I begin with my skincare routine that I have posted before, so you can check that out. I then moisturise with the Simple Kind to Skin Moisturizer.

I then prime my face with Benefits Porefessional - this isn't something I don't always apply, however I love how it feels on my skin. It minimises my pores and I can really notice a difference when it is on my skin. My makeup stays on really well too after using this. It is expensive and I feel like I have mentioned it before, it is pricey but 100% worth the price. I'm also sure this isn't the first time you have heard of it yourself, as it is incredibly popular.

I tend to not use foundation as I think its an un-needed layer clogging up my pores. Instead I use tinted moisturizer or BB Cream, I think its a light layer that covers my face to make me fill a little more confident. At the moment I have gone back to the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturiser, I have the SPF 15 version and its also perfect for school when the sun is out, as I am prone to burning! Again, it is quite pricey however I really love it.

After that I conceal my dark circles and blemishes. I'm quite lucky and don't actually have a lot of blemishes so concealer is something I don't r e a l l y use a lot of, however when I have some nasty spots, I use the boi-ing concealer. Otherwise I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Dual Action on my redness and the Garnier Anti-Dark Circles 2-in-1 for under my eyes. The Rimmel Stay Matte one is really reasonable and does its job perfectly, as does the Garnier one, however is a little more pricey. Although it is only used for under your eyes so it will last a long time.

I then fill in my eyebrows using the PS. Love Eyebrow Pencil in the shade light. My eyebrows are something I literally cant stand due to the colour being so light, I literally find it impossible to find a pencil that matches my shade. I tried the Rimmel ones, Max Factor ones and none of them match! I went into Primark and after watching Velvetgh0st's primark beauty haul I had a look. It was only a pound which is crazy and it comes with a brush thing (very scientific) on the other end! For the value it works perfectly, and my eyebrows look a little better than they usually do!

I then bronze and highlight my face, something I'm going to talk about in one because I only do it briefly. Some people would argue that it is too much to be applying to my face at 13, however it just gives my face a warm healthy glow without using a lot. I use the Soap and Glory Solar Bronzer around my face, but I only use the light side of it, which is a highlighter. I then follow up with the Soap and Glory highlighting blush across my face as well as an extra 'glow' just to complete it.

I then go to my eyes and use my elf eyelid primer in the shade 'Champagne' to make sure that my eyeshadow doesn't slide off. I then use the Soap and Glory eyeshadow in the shade 'Minky'. I apply that all over my lid and then use the Benefits Longwear Powder Shadow in Nude Swings in the creases of my eyes and I blend it. Depending on how I feel I sometimes use some other shades but other than that I leave it like that. In the inner corners of my eyes I use the S&G shade 'Vainlla' I also use this to highlight my brow bone.
Then I curl my lashes and use Benefits They're Real Mascara.

For my lips it varies all the time but today I decided to use my Gilly Hicks lipgloss, that doesn't actually have a shade name or number which is odd, however it smells like Toffee. Its a dark sheer lipgloss and I really am loving it at the moment.
