As I approach the end of my holiday in Spain, I thought I would share with you the contents of my hand luggage! Apologies for my absence for the past few days, however I have been on holiday, making the most of my time out here!
Before I created my blog last year, and before I showed a real interest in beauty my travel bag was a few sweets and my iPod and that was it! Nothing ever occurred to me, so this holiday, really for me is one of the first holidays that I really focus on the beauty and fashion side of things and of course still have lots of laughs!
In my travel bag lets start with essentials...
Phone
Obviously your phone travels everywhere with you so that is vital, and on the flight you can use this to maybe play a few games if your prone to boredom or maybe don't like flying so the games can distract you! You can also listen to music which most people do on flights, to pass the time by and to help calm you if again your an anxious flyer.
A Portable Charger

and I can guarantee you it will be the best decision you've ever made! It will completely transform your angry mood when your in public and your phone lets you down by going flat on you, leaving you to proceed your day alone! The prices of these vary and I to be honest went for a cheaper one due to the fact my friend bought one for around the 3 pound mark and it works perfectly! This is perfect or a flight especially if its a long flight and you spend the whole flight on your phone!
Magazines and Books
A good selection of magazines and a few books would never go a miss, as you never know how many you will get through....
This will distract you and probably get you through and large part of your journey depending on the flight duration, however I know it certainly gets me through!
Hand Sanitizer
Planes are extremely unhygienic in the main scheme. You are with a couple of hundred people and you are all breathing the same air over and over again because obviously there are no windows open, a small hand sanitizer would never go a miss especially with all the germs lerking around.
Toothbrush & Toothpaste
IF you are on an overnight flight, your going to need to clean your teeth and sometimes it just makes you feel cleaner and better so always make sure you have a small little toothbrush and toothpaste near by!
iPod
No need to state the obvious with this but if you haven't got music on your phone, make sure you take your ipod or any source of music with you because it will help you a lot especially if your an anxious flyer! I always have my ipod with me too, because I have a bigger selection of songs! Make sure if you set
Headphones (NOT earphones!)
Make sure you opt for a headphone as apposed to earphones unless you have extremely comfortable earphones that is! Headphones are just more of a comfortable option and your ears will thank you for it!
Eye Mask
Whether you sleep on flights or not this is always a good thing to pack, as it obviously blocks out any light especially if the annoying person in front has all their reading lights on! Also it just gives your eyes a break from the light and a rest without sleeping!
Snacks
I would advise that just before the flight you run into Duty Free or Boots or wherever is most convenient and just grab a few little snack for the journey! Make sure there not messy and don't involve spoons etc. if you didn't grab one! Just a few bars of something will do!
Hair Ties & Bobbi Pins
If your in tight places such as planes that the last think you want is all your luscious locks all around you, so make sure you can tie it up easily! I keep all of my hairbands and bobbi pins in this little pouch so they don't go flying all over the place!
Face Masks
If you didn't already know, flying dries out your skin and face masks are a great way to replenish the skin and to pass time! Especially if your with your friends! Tip: I always opt for a clear face mask, so that it doesn't make a huge mess everywhere! It also isn't very visible!
Cotton Pads & Make Up Remover
These will be used to take off the facemask without creating a lot of mess! I just carry a few in my little travel bag and put the rest of the packet in my actual suitcase to make space!
Snacks

Tips: When packing for your holiday, list every item you put in your suitcase and when you pack up again to go home, check your list to make sure you haven't left anything behind!
Check the weather forecast during the time you are away so you have a guide of what to pack!
