Seeing as it was my one of my Best Friends birthday, me and my other best friend Jenny, were kind enough to make her a cake! We didn't however make it from scratch because we didn't want to make her ill on her birthday aha! I thought I would just show you a little step by step guide because really its something so quick that you could do in your spare time!
We used the Betty Crocker Carrot Cake Mix and additionally bought the Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream.
You also need:
3 Medium Eggs
6tsp Vegetable Oil
Mixing Bowl
Two Cake Tins
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan assisted)
First we sieved the cake mixture into a bowl, added the eggs, and the vegetable oil and mixed it with an electric whisk.
We then evenly distributed the mixture into two grease proof tins and put them in the oven for 25 minutes.
Leave them to cool on a rack and then using the icing sponge together the two cakes. We then covered the whole entire cake in icing and using icing pens to write a little message.
This is such a simple recipe, yet a great thing to do in your spare time and absolutely delicious!
